There has been a serious problem in the UK with counterfeit and potentially dangerous Clipper lighters.

With the assistance of numerous Trading Standards Authorities all over UK numerous markets, retail outlets and wholesalers have been raided and thousands of this illegal merchandise has been seized and destroyed.

Since March 2008 all lighters sold in UK have to conform to EU Child resistant legislation and as such it is now illegal to sell non child resistant lighters.

Any information about locations where these counterfeit or non child resistant lighters are being sold at retailers or market places and also where they are available wholesale would be appreciated.
